Cooperative Building Solutions completed a Transmission & Operations Center at Big Rivers Electric Corporation in Owensboro, Kentucky. Big Rivers Electric Corporation is a member-owned, not-for-profit, generation and transmission cooperative (G&T) providing wholesale electric power and shared services to three distribution cooperative Member-Owners across 22 counties in western Kentucky. Together, the Member-Owners distribute retail electric power to more than 120,000 homes, farms, businesses, and industries in the community.

The new facility will enhance access to Big River's service territory and facilitate better collaboration among the teams that build and maintain their transmission system. Designed and constructed to endure severe weather conditions, the complex features a warehouse with heated truck bays and ample equipment for winter response. Completed in May 2025, the project was delivered on schedule and under budget.
