Roger Bowser serves as Regional Vice President for Cooperative Building Solutions (CBS). In this role, Roger is responsible for strategic planning, operations oversight, and business development. Roger has decades of experience serving electrical cooperatives and their members.

Prior to joining CBS, Roger served as Manager of Energy Services, Facilities and Risk Management at Midwest Energy & Communications (MEC), where he oversaw a $35M+ new construction project for the cooperative as the internal project manager, owner’s representative, and building committee lead. Additionally, Roger spent 25 years as Vice President of Corporate Accounts, Sales and Marketing for Heritage Environmental Services and Waste Management Company.

Roger earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering with minors in Biology, Chemistry and Marketing from Ball State University. Throughout his career, Roger has served on the Michigan Energy Efficiency Committee, Michigan County Road Commission, and American Red Cross Regional Chapter Board of Directors. He also holds a U.S. Patent for a waste management outsourcing business model.

In his spare time, Roger enjoys spending time with his family and fishing.
