REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT

Max Ott is Regional Vice President of Cooperative Building Solutions (CBS). In this role, he is responsible for strategic planning, operations oversight, and business development for the company.

Before joining CBS, Max spent 10 years as System Engineer and 28 years as CEO at Alfalfa Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Cherokee, Oklahoma.

Max graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University.  Following graduation, he attended the rigorous United States Army Officer Candidate School in Fort Benning, Georgia and was Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant before serving two years as a Military Police Officer at Ft. Rucker.

He currently serves as Board Member and President of the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives and Western Farmers Electric. Max is also closely involved in other regional organizations, including the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association in Arlington, Virginia as well as multiple school boards in Oklahoma.

In his spare time, Max enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and diving into home improvement projects. He is a long-time church member and Sunday School teacher.
