CURTIS NOLAN
REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT
Curtis Nolan is a Regional Vice President for Cooperative Building Solutions. In this position, he is responsible for strategic planning, operations oversight, and business development for the company.
His service with electric cooperatives began in 1993 when he was elected to the Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative Board of Directors, in Willcox, Arizona. He was elected to serve on the Board of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) in 2002, where he served for 22 years. Curtis is a past NRECA officer, including President of the Board from 2013-2014. He has also served on the Grand Canyon State Electric Cooperative Association Board, the Southwest Transmission Cooperative, and the CFC Board of Directors.
Prior to his work in the electric cooperative industry, Curtis worked in farming, before he eventually established Nolan Builders in 2005. Under the leadership of Curtis’s sons, the company continues to specialize in new builds, remodeling, and commercial construction.
Curtis attended Mesa Community College where he studied Agriculture. He obtained NRECA Cooperative Credentialed Director status in 1999, Board Leadership Certificate in 2003, and Director Gold Certification in 2016.
